Attention FPS Members: Dear Screen Studies majors: On Weds. 2/25 at 1:30 in the Traina multi-purpose room (basement level), the Screen Studies program will sponsor a workshop on basic lighting technique with Boston-based film industry professional Eric Komar. The event is free and open to all Screen majors, students in Michael Siegel’s SCRN107 classes, and all members of Clark FPS. The workshop will cover basic lighting procedures and will walk students through a fundamental lighting set-up: the two-camera interview. Eric Komar has vast experience working on film productions of all budgets and scales, including many major Hollywood films, and will be available to answer your questions as part of the workshop. Please note that students enrolled in Prof. Larrieux’s SCRN 208 class will be part of a separate Advanced Lighting workshop with Mr. Komar during their Weds. evening class time, and consequently are not expected to attend the daytime session. Please make every effort to attend this special event and let me know if you have any questions. Best, Hugh Manon

All you need to do control the camera and make sure it is up and running, no editing is needed on your part. Thanks in advance! -FPS E-Board
